GHFHDAJKDAKALAAAH!

Tue Jun 23, 2009, 7:14 AM
i am so sick of my film scanner fucking all the colors of my pictures UP THE ASS. they are such bad scans! can anyone recommend a good film scanner for me that isn't completely overpriced, or should i just give in and have them printed in the shop like i always used to do? excuse my language.

also, why can't i seem to change my mood in my journal? i haven't been able to for ages and it's been stuck on "adoration" ever since..

edit so i gave in. i got a ton of my pictures printed elsewhere and the results are so satisfying. i don't feel like posting them all on DA at once but check out all 30+ of them on my flickrrrrr! [link]

also, tomorrow is my last tutorial of the schoolyear and then i'll be at home vegetating for 2 months straight. i can't wait!

No idea about the scanner, sorry.

But the mood thingy - it's happening to me too! I've been on "eager" for ages now and every time I try to change it, all I get is that guy doing that silly "boogie" dance :XD:
:iconkitleen:
me too! and i just sit there and watch it dance, til i realize it's probably not going to stop dancing any time soon ... >_>

I kinda chuckled at your adoration predicament. :B

About the scanner - I have next to zero experience and knowledge of them and their film scanning features, as I only use mine for drawings. BUT the one I bought a few months ago, an Epson Perfection V200, was recommended to me by a friend and it's actually bundled with these... film support plastic thingies, so I'm pretty sure it's also meant for film scanning. It cost about 100€ (I needed a fast one), which may be a bit pricey, but according to [link] I guess it's worth it?

Anyway, that's all I got. And also, Google's your friend. :3

Ill chip in with Canon 8800F (though it is fairly 'chunky';)

Mine came with a software called Silverfast which I have found useful.

calm downnnnnn
i can dig what you say
ok
the one i use and love and has been a workhorse and well still keeps plugging along and was not that xpensive

an Epson 1640SU....but an older model...so maybe the newer one might be even better and maybe less dough

but have had good luck with Epsons
if you can get them over there

wish you the best and don't get too frustrated
you do good work
